Most of OverseerOS's free tools behave exactly like you'd expect: a daily allowance that refills at midnight. Viral X-Ray gives you 2 pulls a day. Thumbnail Image Generator gives you 4, no watermark. Channel Analysis, Retention Optimizer, and the Title Architect all reset on their own daily schedule too.

These aren't just numbers off the pricing page — I ran them. A real Viral X-Ray pull on a sample channel returned genuine engagement data (136M views, 1.8M likes, an independently-calculated revenue estimate) and a real 4-section outline, free. A real thumbnail generated and downloaded, no watermark, no gate.

What Doesn't Reset — And Is Genuinely Enforced

Cloning a channel through My Content Planners is capped at exactly one, for the life of your account. This isn't a soft suggestion. Trying a second clone throws a real, immediate wall.

What Doesn't Reset — And Isn't Enforced The Way The Pricing Page Says

The Script Studio Writing Agent carries the same "lifetime" language: 1 complete full-length script, included once, ever. So I tested it the same way — ran it, then ran it again to see what would happen.

It ran a second time. Then a third. Three separate full-script generations, three genuinely different results, in one continuous session. No block, no warning, no upgrade prompt at any point.

Reopening the tool in a fresh browser session told a different story — it blocked immediately, on the very first attempt, twice in a row. The most likely explanation: the free-script check appears to run once when a session loads rather than before every single generation, so a session that's already confirmed you're eligible doesn't necessarily re-check itself. A fresh session checks correctly and stops you right away.

What This Doesn't Mean

This isn't a claim that OverseerOS is deliberately letting people bypass the limit, or that this will keep working indefinitely — it's entirely possible this gets patched, or that it behaves differently under conditions I didn't test. What I can confirm is exactly what happened under the conditions I actually ran: three successful generations in one session, two clean blocks in a fresh one.

The One Thing You Can Actually Do

Don't assume every "lifetime" limit on a free plan is equally solid. On OverseerOS specifically, the channel clone limit is airtight — pick your reference channel carefully, there's no second try. The script limit is a different story, at least as tested here. Worth checking yourself before assuming either one will stop you.
